What is the difference between 'Jesus' and 'Christ'

What is the difference between "Jesus" and "Christ". You may wonder. What's he gonna write? Yes you are right if you say or think that way because the question looks odd and almost unheard of. Now listen. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, His only begotten Son. Jesus was a Jew when He was on earth. And because of that He needed to be given a Jewish name. This is to indicate which clan or rather the country He belonged. Hence the name Jesus. And as you can see in the Bible that there are others who bore that name 'Jesus'. (Acts 13:6). Now listen to this. If our Lord has been given the name Jesus Joseph (which is right), that could have been a fatal blow to the Christians and consequently injurious. But God didn't arrange it that way because He once said in His Word 'and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD'. Can you see that? The name Christ made Him unique. Christ means Saviour (of the world). Since that time(of Jesus' earthly ministry) till now I have not seen anyone who bears Christ but I have seen or rather heard a footballer named Jesus. Once again The name Christ makes our Lord Jesus unique. Submit your own opinion and/or comment and let's deliberate on it. God bless you as you do so
